“The race for President remains close. President Trump has done remarkably well in turn out, while Joe Biden has surpassed Barack Obama’s 2008 popular vote total. More Americans have voted in this election than ever before, and every vote deserves to be counted, no matter how it was cast – or for whom.
I encourage TCU members – and all Americans – to take a deep breath and await the votes to be counted. We will get a result, one way or another. Tomorrow’s another day. The sun will rise. The trains will keep running. And this union will continue to work to better the lives of our members.
