This election is crucial for TCU/IAM members as we have a chance to elect our friends that will write critical legislation next Congress.
On the ballot this November are a number of key issues for TCU/IAM members:
- Railroad Jobs (Clerks, Carmen, Intermodal, and others)
- Amtrak Jobs (Clerks, On-board Service, Carmen, and Supervisors), Long-Distance Train Service, and the Gateway Project.
- Disney World Jobs
- Railroad Retirement funding
- Rail worker safety
- Your right to join a union
We strongly encourage all TCU members to exercise their civic duty by getting out to vote this election.
TCU’s Legislative and Political Department has been deployed to the field in key states and areas to talk to our members about the importance of this election. Areas visited include: Jacksonville, Sanford, and Orlando, FL; Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
