On the endorsement of IAMAW President Robert Martinez, TCU/IAM President Artie Maratea was appointed to the AFL-CIO Executive Council, filling the vacancy created by former TCU/IAM President Scardelletti’s retirement. The AFL-CIO Executive Council is comprised of Labor Leaders representing 12.5 million union American workers from all industries. The Council is instrumental in shaping the initiatives, goals and policies for the Labor Movement.
