Retired TCU International Vice President Joe Condo passed away on October 24th 2024.
Joe was born on June 21st, 1946 in Bronx, New York. Condo Majored in Labor Economics at the university of Dayton.
He began his union career in 1971 with the Manpower Training department of TCU. He served in various positions in the Allied Services Division and became a TCU Vice-President in 1991.
Joe continued to serve as a Vice-President until he retired from that position in 2010. He remained an active member in TCU and held a position at the Allied Services Division until he died. He was an active member of TCU for 53 years.
“Brother Condo spent an entire career making contributions to the labor movement and will be greatly missed by many. Our TCU family offers our deepest sympathies to the Condo family” said TCU President Artie Maratea.
TCU President Emeritus Bob Scardelletti said, “Joe Condo, an extraordinary Union Representative. He was a friend, co-worker and trusted confidant to me throughout my Union career for which I will be forever grateful.”
