NVP Nick Peluso’s Daughter, Jess Peluso, Has an Epic Sophomore Season at CU Boulder

National Vice-President Nick Peluso’s daughter, Jess Peluso, has had an incredible start to her Lacrosse career at the University of Colorado Buffalo.

With fall ball on the horizon, starting at the end of this month, the TCU/IAM family wanted to highlight some of her significant accomplishments and wish her good luck.

During her first season in 2023, Jess played in 17 of 19 games for the Buffaloes, starting in nine of them as a true freshman. Her career debut was against Denver on February 18, 2023. She then scored her first goal, ground ball, and caused a turnover at Ohio State University on March 12, 2023.

During her second season as a sophomore in 2024, Jess was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors twice during her second season. She also earned the second Academic Weapon Award of the semester, was named to USA Lacrosse’s All-American team as honorable mentions, and was a PAC-12 Second Team All-Conference Player.

Jess currently holds the CU record for caused turnovers, 42, and holds the CU record for caused turnovers per game, 2.2 and first in PAC-12. During her season, she also led the Pac-12 in caused turnovers.

Jess intends to major in Education and aspires to be a high school English teacher and coach.

Jess graduated from East Islip High School in 2022. She lettered in Lacrosse, Basketball and Field Hockey. She graduated as the most decorated male or female athlete in East Islip H.S. history with 13 letters.

“We are all proud of Jess. Her achievements, both on and off the field, make her TCU/IAM family proud. We’re wishing her continued success for this upcoming fall ball and spring season,” said National President Maratea.
