October 9, 2024 – TCU’s FIERCE (Female Initiative for Education, Real Change and Equality) Committee participated in this year’s Susan G. Komen’s ‘More than Pink’ Walk in Jackson, NJ, on Sunday, October 6, 2024. TCU Members from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey came together to support Susan G. Komen’s mission to end breast cancer forever.
National Representative and Education Committee member Katrina Coleman spearheaded the event as TCU’s team captain. Participants who joined in the 2-mile walk at Six Flags included TCU’s Executive Director of Industry Relations, Allie Parker, and Local Lodge 1351 members Terri Turner, Shari Paige, Dianne Rivers, and Pauline Kittlison.
Team TCU-FIERCE has raised over $3,600 thus far and was a top team at the New Jersey Walk. Donations on behalf of Team TCU-FIERCE can be received through Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT. The link to the team page can be found here: http://www.info-komen.org/goto/TCU-FIERCE.
