This serves as a reminder that the 2025-26 Union Plus scholarship application deadline of January 31, 2025, is fast approaching.
If you have a college-age student(s) and have not already done so, they should submit a completed scholarship application along with all information as required by Union Plus, online only at UNION PLUS SCHOLARSHIP. Once again, the submission deadline is Friday, January 31, 2025, no later than 12:00 pm, Eastern Standard Time.
Awards ranging from $500 to $4,000 will be granted to individuals who meet the evaluation criteria. Scholarship recipients will be selected by May 31, 2025, and award recipients will be notified via postal mail the first week of June 2025.
Additional educational or scholarship opportunities through IAM include:
- Undergraduate degree through the U-LEARN program. Through U-LEARN, in addition to free books, you can take unlimited associate- or bachelor’s-level courses for $5,250 per calendar year. Further information can be obtained by clicking IAM Union Members and Their Families.
- Another scholarship opportunity is IAM Scholarships. This scholarship competition is open each year to members and their children throughout the United States and Canada. The application deadline is February 3, 2025. Further information can be found at https://scholarship.goiam.org/.
