Monthly benefits may be payable under the Railroad Retirement Act to the surviving widow(er), children, and certain other dependents of a railroad employee if the employee was “insured” under that Act at the time of death. Effective May 1st Jack Dinsdale was elected TCU Vice-President by the TCU/IAM Executive Council to replace the position of retiring Vice-President Tom Truhler. Brother Dinsdale began his railroad career on Amtrak in 1974. He was elected District Chairman of TCU Local 2507 in 1994. In 1998 he was elected Vice General Chairman of System Division
TCU Delegates Attend 2017 IAM Transportation Conference
The 2017 IAM Transportation Conference concluded on Wednesday, April 12. The biennial conference was the most well-attended conference in the Transportation Department’s history with more than 600 delegates and over 200 from TCU.
