A comprehensive ratification package will be mailed to each Amtrak member – Carmen, Clerks, On Board Service Workers and Supervisors on February 1, 2018. Ballots will be mailed to the members’ address of record. Members not receiving a ballot for any reason will be able to request one through a procedure that will be announced
National Agreement Ratified
By an overwhelming vote TCU Carmen and Clerks have ratified the National Agreement. Carmen voting 78.85% in favor. Clerks voting 93.92% in favor. “ A solid vote of confidence by the membership in this overwhelming vote to approve the Agreement. The Carriers will now begin implementing the wage increases and processing the back pay.” Said
AMTRAK AGREEMENT UPDATE
As previously reported — after three long and contentious years of negotiations, TCU Carmen, Clerks, On-Board Service Workers and Supervisors have reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with Amtrak, together with our coalition partners, IAM, IBB, IBEW, SMART Mechanical, NCFO, TWU and UNITE-HERE. As America awaits a long-overdue infrastructure plan from President Trump, one opinion writer highlighted a few of America’s greatest infrastructure needs on CNN.
