Republicans Sign Resolution Against NMB Rule Change

At least 30 Republican Senators have signed a Resolution of Disapproval against the recent NMB ruling allowing for representation elections to be counted by a majority of the votes cast. These Senators want a non vote to be counted as a no.

“These lawmakers are willing to sign their names to a document in that says they disapprove of the democratic process. They are endorsing the idea that uncast votes should be counted as a no vote,” said TCU International President Bob Scardelletti. “These men will stop at nothing to take away the rights of the middle class worker. Of course they side with big business, preferring that workers be paid the lowest wages possible with little or no benefits. I say that, in the Senate elections in their state, a person who does not vote should be counted as a vote against them. That would give them a taste of their own medicine. This is a perfect example of the repression of our…unalienable rights, that among these are, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” *
