James Lawton Bailey of Panama City Beach, Florida, a retired general vice president of the Brotherhood Railway Carmen, died August 2, 2007 at the age of 85. Wheeler, retired general president of the Brotherhood Railway Carmen who engineered the merger of that union with what was then the Brotherhood of Railway and Airline Clerks, passed away September 10, 2007. September 7, 2007 —Unit 320 International Representative Leonard Bauman of North Little Rock, Arkansas, has been elected Chairman of the Carmen Division Executive Board.
