January 9, 2025 – TCU’s Women’s Committee, FIERCE, wanted to end 2024 by giving back to the community over the holiday season. Similar to last year, FIERCE wanted to help a family in need and was introduced to the Williams family by Arika Davenport, a member of TCU Local Lodge 570.
FIERCE worked closely with Sister Arika’s non-profit organization, Impactful Changes Inc., which provides restorative and life-changing residential treatment to men and women recovering from drug addiction in Baltimore, MD.
Committee members were able to collect toys, clothes, diapers, and other items to make sure the Williams family had a special and memorable Christmas.
TCU’s National Representative and Education Committee person Katrina Coleman, Unit 86 & C/L Administrative Assistant Latasha Holland, and Arika Davenport all hand-delivered gifts to the family, spreading some holiday cheer.
TCU’s FIERCE looks forward to giving back to more communities throughout the new year.
