Click the star to find out about Barack Obama's support for TCU members.   Amtrak members, download a flyer to find out why a vote for John McCain is a vote against your job.  Other railroad members, here's a flyer for you.

building-webcopy.jpgThe message of TCU's support for Obama reads large and clear for the thousands of people who drive the highway past TCU headquarters in Rockville, Maryland (just outside Washington, DC) each day.  A new banner for Obama has been installed on the right side of the building, joining the banner on the left reading 'God Bless America' which was put up shortly after 9/11.

NEW! From our campaign news clips comes this September 2 article by Washington Post staff writer Ben Pershing who reports that "Joe Biden is an original co-sponsor of the Amtrak reauthorization bill, known as the Passenger Rail Investment and Improvement Act of 2007, versions of which have passed both chambers and are now awaiting a conference committee.  He also is a regular signatory to letters calling for increased funding for the rail service, aperennial target for cuts by conservatives and other critics, including Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).  Read "Rail-Riding Biden Is a Strong Backer of Amtrak in Senate"
